Frequently Asked Questions
Uses, Taste, Dimensions
It's mildly sweet(thanks to the Stevia), mildly grassy, with a very fine consistency (for a greens powder)
I'd recommend taking one level scoop per day in the morning mixed with water. This will help most with energy, hunger, and ensure the nutrients get absorbed quickly into your system. However, there aren't any times when you couldn't take it.
30 servings, and about 253 grams. If you use one level scoop each day it'll last 30 days. If you use a heaping scoop then it'll last closer to 15 or 20 days.
You can add it to juice, smoothies, or other foods. No problem. You can heat it, but it's not recommended since it'd likely degrade some of the nutrients in the mixture, which are already volatile.
If this concerns you it's always best to talk to your doctor first and do what you and (s)he feel comfortable with. The herbs in Incredible Greens do have mild metabolic/stimulative properties, but generally there's not enough in one serving to have an effect with most people. I would recommend using 1 teaspoon for a serving instead of the normal scoop as a precautionary measure. But again, if you're concerned, talk to your doctor. Good reading on this topic can be found at American Pregnancy.
Incredible Greens is generally mild and non-stimulatory on your body, so most people are probably fine. If you have concerns about the effect Incredible Greens might have with other substances it's best to consult with your doctor first and go from there. As a pre- cautionary measure I'd recommend starting off with a teaspoon and slowly build up your dosage to a regular scoop.
On children over 3 years old you should be fine. Start them with a teaspoon instead of a regular serving. Consult your doctor if you have any specific concerns.
You probably have nothing to worry about. Most customers take 1 scoop per day, but many take is 2-3 times a day and there's no inherent reason why you couldn't do this so long as you don't have an allergy to one of the ingredients.
You certainly can. There's no reason you can't take it alongside your favorite multi-vitamin, meal shake, or protein powder, among others.
The jar is completely full when it's first made, but our bottles are filled by weight and not by volume. So after time the powder has time to settle and it takes up less space inside the jar.
Shipping, Handling, Returns
It's a flat $6 on all orders.

International shipping is being planned for the somewhat distant future. Plans for additional products and a fantastic juicing guide are the first priorities right now.
Ingredients, Allergens, Warnings
Incredible Greens has 300 mg of Barley malt which typically has gluten in it. I'd recommend avoiding IG if you're worried about this.
No. There are no dairy ingredients. Including our probiotics, which are grown in a carbohydrate broth.
Incredible Greens has bee pollen and royal jelly in it. These are very nutritious, but some consider them to be animal products.
A serving of Incredible Greens contains 2000mg of soy lecithin.
The ingredients in Incredible Greens are carefully grown and handled to avoid heat and solvents which might cause impurities. This includes using dehydration and pressure to create the powder instead of heat. Using water instead of hexanes to separate the extracts, and freeze drying our digestive enzymes and probiotics to avoid cellular damage.
Most people who are allergic to soy are allergic to the isoflavones, which are typically found in the protein of soy, and not the lecithin. So the majority of people who have a soy allergy should be okay to try Incredible Greens. However, some people who have a severe soy allergy should avoid it.
Soy lecithin is without a doubt one of the most talked about and least understood ingredients in superfood powders. It's not filler and it's not bad for you. Lecithin is found in all of our cells and is very important for fat and cholesterol metabolism, and nervous system functioning, among other things. It's an essential nutrient. If this issue concerns you, I'd recommend that you read my article on whether or not you should use a greens powder with lecithin, and my article on the perceived health defects of soy. Look them over carefully, and then decide if you want to proceed.
If you're not pregnant or gluten intolerant, then you should be fine. Incredible Greens uses Stevia as a sweetener, but Stevia is a type of leaf that has a naturally occurring sweetness without any carbohydrates, effect on blood glucose, or long-term side effects at the amounts used in Incredible Greens.
Quality Control
No, it's not. Our ingredients are sourced from all over the world, which makes organic certification prohibitively expensive.
Even though we source our ingredients from all over the world, Incredible Greens is made in a GMP compliant facility in Long Island NY. This makes quality control much more feasible. Ingredients are independently verified before they enter the facility, stored in temperature controlled rooms before being used, and the facility is independently verified by NSF for legal compliance.
The formulation is my own, but it's made in an FDA grade manufacturing facility. This is better for everyone involved. It makes it easier to ensure consistent production quality every single batch, and to be made in much larger volume than if I were to do it on my own.
All ingredients and suppliers are independently verified through an organization called NSF before they reach our facilities. This allows us to be sure the ingredients that go into Incredible Greens are high quality and grown under responsible and sustainable conditions. The facilities are independently verified by NSF for regulatory compliance. You can see our certificate here. You can read more about the NSF organization here: http://www.nsf.org/business/dietary_supplements/index.asp?program=DietarySups Please Note: Health Kismet itself is not certified through NSF. But the manufacturing facility that produces it is. That's what this certificate refers to.
All produce must use some sort of growth enhancer if it wants to be made in large enough quantities to be sold to large amounts of people. It's the world we live in. So yes, some pesticides are used to grow the ingredients put into our mixture. However, ingredients are only allowed to be used for Incredible Greens AFTER they meet 99.9% purity standards through independent third party verification and Incredible Greens isn't sold until an in house Certificate of Analysis is performed on the final product to make sure its ingredients and proportions adhere to what's on the label.
Ingredients are sourced from suppliers all over the world, as dictated by where the ingredients naturally grow. You'd never choose American acerola over Amazonian acerola if you had the choice.
This is an excellent question! The short answer is that the ingredients are dehydrated and crushed into a powder. This is typically done by our suppliers before it gets to our facility. The ingredients are then received in temperature controlled chambers in a low oxygen environment to avoid contamination by air and packed with Nitrogen. The different ingredients are then put into our mixing machines and sealed into a bottle.
I recommend you read my article on how greens powders are made if you want more detailed information on this topic.

Perhaps the most important question of any curious supplement shopper! Let's begin by acknowledging the most important truth about the food-->powder process: you lose some important stuff. Eating a fresh raspberry is not the same as eating raspberry powder, even if it's organic, wildcrafted, and locally grown raspberry powder.
However, the combination of using verified suppliers, prudent verification, and careful raw storage can get you pretty far. The most important step is using the right ingredients. Please see the question about ingredients and suppliers if you want to know more about that. Freezing ingredients typically keeps most of the nutrients, especially if they're stored with a cryo-protectant. For example, here's an article I wrote that covers how using the right growing conditions can maintain about a 90-93% bio-availibility with probiotic bacteria.
It's inevitable that you'll lose some delicate micronutrients immediately after harvesting because of the exposure to air and disconnect from the food source. However, assuming the ingredients are flash-frozen immediately after harvesting you'll typically maintain around 85-90% of the absorptive capacity of the original food. For further reading here's an article I wrote about the difference between fresh and frozen vegetables.
We use very short production runs. Anytime Incredible Greens is made, we only make enough to last 6-10 weeks to make sure no bottle is more than 1-2 months old. No one wants skunky greens.
In addition to the certificates and videos listed above, I'd invite you to take a look at our most recent Certificate of Analysis on the product page.
No. Our ingredients are made entirely from Non GMO sources, including our soy lecithin.
Health Benefits
It's very possible. Many people report having increased levels of energy throughout the day after taking it, although it's not designed to be an energy drink per se.
Nothing about Incredible Greens is specifically designed for weight loss. However, a good diet is very important for weight loss, and Incredible Greens can help as much as it helps you with the latter goal.
A serving of Incredible Greens only has 30 calories which is not enough for a meal. It also doesn't have very much protein or fat. So it's hard to call it a genuine meal replacement, like other products claim to be.
I would recommend reading my article about the differences between meal replacement powders, multi-vitamins,and greens powders for more information.
Possibly, although you should be warned that I'm not a huge fan of the traditional multi-vitamin. Read this article to find out why. Incredible Greens was designed to give your body the appropriate splash of enzymes, bacteria, trace micro-nutrients and essential fatty compounds that are very difficult to find elsewhere, including your vitamin.
So it's not a powdered form of the exact same stuff. If you want to get Incredible Greens and still use a multi-vitamin, I recommend you read my article on how to differentiate between the best and worst kinds, my recommendations for the best brands, and my explanation of the differences between greens powders, meal replacement powders, and whole food vitamins. Choose the product that's best for you.
